My golden experience began in 1989 with my first female golden retriever Tiffany, not intending to do anything with Tiff other than have a loving pet.  When she was 3 years old we decided to let her have a litter of pups and asked her breeder Sandra Mackenzie from Shogold Kennels if she could recommend a suitable mate for her.  Little did I know about all the tests and procedures involved in having that first litter, it was all worth it and as a family experience, it was wonderful for my kids. 

We kept Kondor a male from that first litter, he grew up with my boys into a beautiful loving male who fathered many litters of his own.  The kennel name was arrived at from Tiffany and Kondor’s names and will always be a reminder of our first 2 beautiful golden retrievers. 

I thank Sandra Mackenzie for getting me involved in the breeding and showing of this very special breed, if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be doing this today.
